The childproof lock is designed to protect children against scalding and burns from the coffee machine. Deactivating the childproof lock deactivates and activates your machine, and is generally simple and quick to do.
Activating the childproof lock
1. Press and hold key icon for at least 4 seconds.
2. “Child-proof lock activated” briefly appears on the display.
No further operation is now possible; only key icon can be pressed.
Deactivating the childproof lock
1. Press and hold key icon for at least 4 seconds.
2. “Child-proof lock deactivated” briefly appears on the display.
Your coffee machine will now function as normal.
