My new bosch hob

I absolutely love my new Bosch hob I feel it's a lot safer than my previous one also I find it actually cooks my meals a lot quicker too. I couldn't be happier. Thank you for quick delivery and fitting was quick and complete.

Rear Venting

This item was purchased specifically because it had the option of being rear venting, which was vital in our case. Rear venting hoods are few and far between. The item is fairly well built (being Bosch) and seems to work quite well (limited use, 2 weeks so far). The hood is as noisy as one would expect but not excessively so and most of the time it is only used on the lowest sttings. It is neat looking and very easy to use. Our one negative point is that it is stainless steel and shows marks easily. We would have preferred a black hood but had no choice. Altogether quite pleased with it so far.

Hob Satisfaction

The induction hob looks smart, for a start, and it seems easy to keep clean after use. It is cleverly simple to use and is an intelligent pice of equipment. I like cooking with it and am extremely satisfied.

Gas hob

Happy with my new gas hob and it looks good in my new kitchen. I like the fact it is much more stable than my previous Bosch hob. Finding it easy to clean so far. I've been using it for two weeks, but still waiting for the odour to go completely.

Excellent hob - large and easy to use

Having used a large gas range cooker for 20 years followed by 18 months of using a dreadful electric ceramic hob we recently had this induction hob installed with a new kitchen. While still not the same as a large gas range hob it's the next best thing. The layout of the 5 heating zones gives a very spacious feel. The controls are clear and easy to use and the changes in temperature very responsive. The 'boost' function brings a pan of water to the boil very quickly. Exceptionally easy to clean - we use a damp cloth followed by a micropore duster. We haven't found any downsides yet.

Yes, when you download the app, you will need to create an account.

How do I connect my Hob and Hood in Home Connect?

1. Connect your hob and hood to the Home Connect app

2. Find the Settings for your hob within the appliance page on the app

3. Select ‘Home Appliance to Home Appliance Connection’

4. Follow the instructions in the app – your connected Hood should appear available to connect and will let you know when it is successfully paired

Now you can start using Hob-Hood Control in your home

Can I use Home Connect with my older appliances?

Unfortunately, this isn't a good idea. Retrofitting an older appliance that wasn't originally designed to work with the app is difficult and expensive. There is also the added challenge of ensuring that all electrical safety precautions are still in place.

What kind of Wi-Fi router do I need?

Any standard Wi-Fi router that is roughly five years old or newer should work. Just remember that for security reasons, you must encrypt your network. You can't register your appliance over an unencrypted network.

Will you share my data with third parties?

We give you a full breakdown of all the partners and service providers who will have access to your data. All those companies must adhere to our strict guidelines on processing information. But, if for any reason you are unhappy, you are free to cancel the connection with partner services at any time. And if you choose to delete your Home Connect account, we will automatically terminate the connection to all active links for you.
