Whether you're baking, roasting, or simply using the timer for another kitchen task, understanding how to properly use your Bosch oven timer can help ensure perfectly cooked meals.
Ovens with Timer Button
1. Locate the Timer Button – Depending on your Bosch oven model, the timer button is usually represented by a clock symbol on the control panel.
2. Press the Timer Button – This will activate the timer function.
3. Adjust the Time – Use the + and - buttons or the rotary dial (depending on your model) to set the desired countdown time.
4. Confirm the Setting – After setting the time, wait a few seconds, and the timer will activate automatically.
5. End of Timer Notification – When the countdown reaches zero, the oven will emit an audible beep to signal that the time has elapsed.

Ovens with a Control Ring
1. Press the Hourglass Icon - This will activate the timer function.
2. Set the Timer – Press the relevant time value on the display, e.g. minute display "m" or second display "s". The selected value is marked in blue.
3. Set the Desired Time Using the Control Ring – To fine-tune the setting values, e.g. to set a time to the precise second, press and hold the corresponding area in the setting ring for around 1 - 2 seconds. The finely tined setting values are shown in dots.
If required, use to reset the setting value.
4. Start the Timer Using the Display – The timer will then start to count down. Once the timer has elapsed, a signal sounds. A notification appears on the display confirming that the timer has finished.
If neither of the above methods work, you can find details on how to set up the oven timer for your appliance in your user manual.
