Our dishwashers are fitted with a self-diagnosis system, which in the rare case of a fault will help to report what the problem is. If the E24 error code appears on the appliance display it means the appliance is not draining properly due to a blockage.

Step by step guide

Bosch dishwasher displaying E24

1. Check the inlet hose and ensure it's not kinked or damaged.

2. The pump cover may be loose. The pump cover is located at the bottom of the dishwasher underneath the filter. Remove the filter to reveal the pump cover and ensure that it’s not loose. If you have trouble locating it, review your user manual.

3. If the dishwasher drain hose is connected to a garbage disposal's dishwasher drain connection, ensure that the plug is removed from the disposer’s dishwasher drain connection.

If the problem persists, you can book an engineer visit or contact us.
