Why is my dishwasher leaking?
You will need to replace the door seal if it becomes brittle or you find that it no longer seals water away, causing your appliance to leak. This is a repair that can be done at home, however if you are not feeling confident, we would recommend booking an engineer to professionally fit the replacement.
How to replace dishwasher door seal?
1. Remove the faulty door seal by opening the appliance door and pulling the door seal out of the channel on the edge of the door.
2. Clean the channel and dishwasher door with a paper towel, ensuring that no debris is left behind. Before proceeding, let the channel dry.
3. Place the new door seal in the middle of the appliance so that it is positioned evenly on both sides.
4. Press the centre of the door seal into the channel across the top and then evenly across both sides of the door.
5. Inspect that you have correctly placed the door seal, then shut the door firmly so that it pushes the seal into the channel.
