How to clean a cooker hood

Regular cleaning of your Bosch cooker hood is essential for keeping your kitchen clean and efficient. Here’s a simple guide to help you maintain it.

1. Before cleaning, make sure the cooker hood is turned off and unplugged from the power supply.
2. Remove the grease filters. Depending on your model, you may have metal or carbon filters. Metal filters can be soaked in hot soapy water for 20 minutes, gently scrubbed with a soft brush, then rinsed and left to air dry. Carbon filters can’t be washed and should be replaced when needed. 3. Wipe down the exterior of the cooker hood with a mild soapy water solution and a soft cloth. Be sure to pay attention to areas like buttons and control panels.
