The appliance has its own service programme with an automatic cleaning cycle. This takes approximately 5 minutes and involves running boiling water through the pipes to help keep it clean.
This programme is good for consistent and regular cleaning to prevent a build-up of deposits and debris inside the machine.
Step by step
1. Touch the rain drop symbol.
2. Touch [ Clean ] to select the programme.
3. The display indicates the progress of the programme.
4. Clean the beverage outlet and replace, empty the drip trays and replace.
5. Open the ground coffee drawer, drop in a cleaning tablet and close the coffee drawer again.
6. Close the appliance door.
7. Place a container with a capacity of 0.5 litre under the beverage outlet.
8. Press the triangle symbol. The cleaning programme will now run for about 5 minutes.
9. Remove the container, empty the drip trays, replace and close the appliance door.
10. Press the triangle symbol. The appliance has finished cleaning and is ready for use again.
11. Touch the rain drop symbol to exit the program.
