Bundle Up and Save On Kettle and Toasters

So far, so good! Works a treat and looks good.

The kettle is quite pricey, so I was a little nervous over whether it would be worth it, but so far I am very happy! I wanted the water-containing section of the kettle to be a stainless steel, which this is (it's not just external decoration!). It is not as noisy as our previous 'quiet' kettle, and we often only want to heat up to 80 or 90 degrees, so believe that is saving us time and money (how much in the longer term is yet to be established). Happy with the keep warm feature too. Instructions could be clearer about the keep warm feature. They say that kettle is turned off once lifted from the base - but when the k-w feature is switched on, and kettle briefly removed then returned to base, keep-warm still works. It's what I wanted - but is confusing for peeps who expect the kettle to turn off. My one negative is that the handle is quite wide to hold, and I have large hands, so I wonder how someone with smaller hands might find it, especially when full of water.

Smart looking, safe and reliable kettle!

Very well-insulated layer - noticeably heats up quicker than my old one and is safe to touch without burning my hands! I didn't realise how useful the limescale filter is in London (hard-water area) until I started having it! It also comes with a nice touch featuring a subtle beep when the water is ready and the optional keep-warm function. Love the smart LED look with the temperature display. I am slightly dubious as to how long it will last before malfunctioning - I am only 1 week in, and so far so good - so only time will tell.

I have registered the kettle however I was unable to enter the full correct serial number which ends in 03 so to continue with Registering I entered a default 02 instead !

Great kettle, could do with being more reliable

This is our third kette of this particular model, bought over many years. Love the design, the ability to set the desired temperature etc. However, we have had to replace it yet again because after a few years use the lid stops popping up by itself when the button is pressed and you need to prise it open. Also, the electrical connection between the kettle and base has become tempremental, necessitating the kettle bening wiggled / rotated to get it to work. These are Irritating problems, but hopefully the design has been modified to overcome these issues. Time will tell.

We've had one of these adjustable temperature kettles for over ten years, we have very hard water and having been used at least four times daily during that period it has begun to leak; so we bought another one the same!
