4D Hot Air
This fan oven symbol means that you can place your food on any of the four shelfs to achieve consistently perfect results: thanks to the fan wheel that changes direction of rotation during operation to distribute heat evenly on every level.
3D Hot Air
This fan oven symbol means that you can maintain the right temperature across all three shelf levels so that consistently even cooking results are achieved.
Top and bottom heat
Conventional baking and roasting on one level.
Top/Bottom heat gentle
Conventional baking and roasting on one level using residual heat, allowing you to gently cook meat, fish and baked items.
Pizza setting
Create authentic pizzas with crisp bases and moist toppings. Also great for quiches, tarts and frozen foods.
Bottom heat
Only the bottom element is heated – ideal for pastry cases, bain-marie cooking and reheating.
Added Steam
Produces succulent roasts, with juicy meats and crispy skins, as well as breads with the perfect colour and crust.

Slow cook
For gentle and slow cooking of seared, tender pieces of meat in ovenware without a lid. Heat is emitted evenly from above and below at low temperatures.
Hot air eco
For gently cooking selected types of food on one level without preheating. The fan distributes the heat from the ring-shaped heating element in the back panel around the cooking compartment.
Top and bottom eco
For gently cooking selected types of food. Heat is emitted from above and below. This heating function is most effective between 150 and 250 °C.
Intensive heat
For dishes with a crispy base. The heat is emitted from above and more intensively from below.
Drying
For drying herbs, fruit and vegetables.
Hotair grilling
This grill symbol means that by operating alternatively, the grill and fan create a rotisserie effect, perfect for creating crisp meats and poultry.
Centre Grill
This grill symbol means that you can use the centre grill for smaller quantities and more efficiency.
Full width variable grill
Select this oven grill symbol if you want to grill large quantities with ease thanks to the precise temperature control. For added efficiency the door can be closed and the smells are kept in the oven.
Defrost
The oven defrost symbol allows you to gently defrost food more evenly and quicker than it would take on the kitchen counter.
Fast heat
For those times when you need your food ready more quickly, select fast heat to warm the oven faster.
Single point probe
The single point meat probe constantly measures the temperature at the core of the roast and as soon as the desired temperature is reached gives an acoustic and switches off automatically. (Available in selected Serie 6 models only)
Perfect Roast Meat probe
Three highly sensitive measuring points determine the core temperature of your food to the exact degree, guaranteeing perfect roasting results and taking away the guesswork. (Available in selected Serie 8 models only)
Keep warm
For cooking cooked food warm.
Programmes
For many types of food, the appliance has preprogrammed setting values that you can use.
Interior lighting
Switches on the interior lighting; all other functions remain off. Makes it easier to clean the cooking compartment, for example.
Preheat ovenware
For preheating ovenware.
Reheating
For plated meals and baked items Cooked food is gently reheated. The steam ensures that the food does not dry out.
Dough proving
For yeast dough and sourdough Dough will rise considerably more quickly than at room temperature. The surface of the dough does not dry out.
Pyrolytic cleaning
Heats the oven to around 480°C, which reduces dirt and grease deposits to dust that can be easily wiped away.
EcoClean Direct
Almost no cleaning is necessary thanks to a special coating of the rear wall that automatically absorbs grime.
