Drying the duvet in the tumble dryer is simple and helps to beat the stress out of doing laundry especially when the weather is rainy. For best results in drying the duvet, follow the tips below.
Select the right programme
Your tumble dryer is fitted with various drying programmes which should be carefully selected when using the appliance. Using the right programme can not only improve the drying results, but it can also be more economical! So, before selecting your go-to programme to dry the duvet, check if your appliance is fitted with a duvet programme. This is usually one of the additional programmes that your tumble dryer has, and is listed in your user manual.
If you selected the duvet programme and have more space in the dryer that you would like to add other items, you can also add clothes, pillows or quilts. However, for best results we recommend drying large items individually and staying away from overloading the dryer.
Tip: Remember to pay special attention to the maximum load designated per each programme when loading the dryer.
Load the dryer properly
While it can be tempting to simply transfer the laundry from the washing machine into the tumble dryer directly, detangling the twisted ends helps laundry dry faster and makes it significantly easier to iron and sort out once the drying cycle is completed. If you choose to tumble dry multiple items at the same time, we recommend buttoning up as many of them as possible. This will stop shirts, pillows and other items from knotting up together or being absorbed by the duvet.
