Fridge handles are designed to be sturdy, however after repeated heavy use they become subject to damage. If your fridge door handle is broken, we recommend replacing it with an original spare part. Fortunately, you won’t need professional help, and it only takes a few minutes.
Finding the right handle
At Bosch we keep original spare parts for our appliances for up to 10 years after the product has been introduced. This means you will likely be able to purchase the right replacement part that has been designed to fit your fridge perfectly. To quickly and easily find the right part for your appliance, we recommend using the spare parts search in the following way:
1. Find the model number (E-nr) of your appliance. On fridges the model number can usually be found on a label on the inside of the appliance, visible when the bottom salad drawer is pulled out. On freezers the label is usually visible when the bottom drawer is pulled out.
2. Type it into the spare parts search.
3. Locate and click on the missing part using the expanded diagram of your appliance.
Replacing the door handle
To do this, you will need an original replacement part and a screwdriver.
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Take out the screws.
3. Push down the lower part of the handle.
4. Remove the old screws.
5. Place the new screws.
6. Push in the new door handle so that it is aligned.
7. Slide up the new door handle.
8. Add the last set of screws.
