Avoid unwanted, lingering smells in the kitchen with the ease of Hob-Hood control. Connect your hob and hood via Home Connect so your hood automatically switches on when the hob is being used. With an air quality sensor, the fan level is adjusted based on cooking conditions. After cooking, the lights can turn off automatically and the fan can switch off immediately or go into after-run mode, leaving you to enjoy your time in the kitchen.
For when your hands are full.
When your hands are full with food prep, oven trays or extra cookware, you can now control your hood via via Amazon Alexa or Google Home. Activate, or change the settings on your hob and hood without having to stop what you're doing.

Very good design, operation, clean
This is very neat and we are venting to outside world and it's incredibly efficient. Maybe a tiny but noisier than I had hoped, but it removes all fumes when needed. Very happy over all and it looks easy to take filters off and run through dishwasher.

never going back to gas!
Sleek, easy to clean, and powerful - boils a pan of water etc very fast. Only thing not done yet is try a wok (heat up sides you get with gas could be an issue) but we are really pleased. Great you can adjust the various beeps and alerts to your liking. So neat/easy to clean (did I say that already...)

Powerful enough, not extremely resistant
It has plenty of power, will heat up your pots/pans pretty quickly, and the medium setting is quite often enough to cook. However, it doesn't seem very resistant - in a matter of 3 months it's already showing some scratching from using standard stainless steel pans.

Great Induction Hob
Great new hob in our kitchen, nice clean lines, easy to use and powerful. Never go back to any other type of job. Only trouble is that have been prevented from applying for the extended warranty which is extremely annoying as couldn't access the portal for some reason!

Excellent first impressions of Bosch Induction Hob
We have been using our Bosch induction hob for a month now and have been very impressed. We moved from a four ring gas hob and have not had any issues adapting to cooking on induction, other than needing to keep a closer eye on things as the heating is far more efficient! We have a number of Bosch appliances and would always recommend the brand for quality products that are reliable and well made.What you need to know. All in one go.
Do I have to register to use Home Connect?
Yes, when you download the app, you will need to create an account.
How do I connect my Hob and Hood in Home Connect?
1. Connect your hob and hood to the Home Connect app
2. Find the Settings for your hob within the appliance page on the app
3. Select ‘Home Appliance to Home Appliance Connection’
4. Follow the instructions in the app – your connected Hood should appear available to connect and will let you know when it is successfully paired
Now you can start using Hob-Hood Control in your home

Can I use Home Connect with my older appliances?
Unfortunately, this isn't a good idea. Retrofitting an older appliance that wasn't originally designed to work with the app is difficult and expensive. There is also the added challenge of ensuring that all electrical safety precautions are still in place.
What kind of Wi-Fi router do I need?
Any standard Wi-Fi router that is roughly five years old or newer should work. Just remember that for security reasons, you must encrypt your network. You can't register your appliance over an unencrypted network.
Will you share my data with third parties?
We give you a full breakdown of all the partners and service providers who will have access to your data. All those companies must adhere to our strict guidelines on processing information. But, if for any reason you are unhappy, you are free to cancel the connection with partner services at any time. And if you choose to delete your Home Connect account, we will automatically terminate the connection to all active links for you.
