Yes, the VitaPower Serie 8 easily blends hard fruit and vegetables. You can also use it to make tasty drinks with a few ice cubes. There's a built-in programme for turning ice cubes into crushed ice in about 10 seconds.

How long does vacuum blending take?
The automatic smoothie programme takes up to 60 seconds to extract the oxygen, then about 50 seconds to blend depending on the ingredients.
How do you clean the VitaPower Serie 8 vacuum blender?
The jar, the detachable blades and all the accessories are dishwasher safe. The main housing and the vacuum hose can be cleaned with a damp cloth. There’s also a built-in cleaning programme - just add 250ml of water and some drops of liquid soap to the jar and push the cleaning button!
